Questions about Putnam EDGE High School:

These are some of the questions that have been asked about Putnam EDGE:

Putnam EDGE has a rigorous STEM curriculum that will prepare students for college or vocational training after high school. The school will work closely with business partners on projects to provide a real-world experience to explore career opportunities of interest.

Any student eligible to attend public schools are eligible to attend Putnam EDGE High School. FCAT scores, GPA, etc., are not considered in the selection process.

We expect students to adhere to the district dress code policy. We have shirts available with the school logo.

We want to make Putnam EDGE High School available to all students in Putnam County. We will work closely with the PCSD to make transportation available. 

The school will does not currently have a sports program but does house clubs based on the interest of the students. Students are, however, eligible to play sports or participate in clubs at the school they would have attended.

School is in session Tuesday-Friday. First period will start at 9:05 AM and sixth period will end at 3:55 PM. Please see the table below for all period times.

Yes, students will be able to dual-enroll and take classes through the school or Saint Johns River State College.
